RAC for Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is for people who have a significant amount of work, life and volunteering experiences with IT networking, and wish to have their skills officially recognized by a Quebec college. Cisco candidates generally have specific, specialized skills in the area of networking fundamentals. They are responsible for a variety of tasks including network installation, migration, inventory management, component configuration, performance verification, network supervision and security management. Champlain College Saint-Lambert offers the same CCNP AEC through its Centre for Continuing Education, specifically for people who have little to no relevant work or life experience. It takes approximately 9 months to complete, and can be pursued even with a full-time job.
